A & E Grill in Chickasha offers a straightforward, no-frills dining experience typical of a local bar & grill that comfortably serves both families and casual diners. Tucked on W Grand Avenue, it benefits from a convenient location near city parks and local events, making it a reliable stop for a hearty meal after exploring or during local festivities, such as the nearby Festival of Light.

The atmosphere inside is lively and welcoming, with a buzz that peaks during community events. Even when busy, the staff manages to keep service attentive, regularly checking on diners to ensure orders arrive promptly. The venue suits those looking for a familiar American grill menu rather than something fussy or avant-garde, with an emphasis on comfort food served in generous portions.

The menu leans heavily into classic favorites: think tender chicken fried steak that locals remark on for its ease of cutting and juicy texture, sizable burgers layered with bacon or cheese, and platters like deluxe chicken nachos piled high with toppings. Sides like garlic mashed potatoes, onion rings, and hush puppies complement these mains, inviting a full, satisfying meal. The presence of both fried seafood options and grilled sandwiches broadens the appeal to families and groups with varied tastes.

This spot works well for casual dinners, family outings with kids (who have their own smaller cheeseburger and fries option), or grabbing a reliable bite during events when nearby spots fill up. A & E Grill’s practical layout and friendly team make it a straightforward choice if you want classic American fare served with a side of local friendliness rather than flair.

Evenings and weekends appear busiest, especially during local celebrations, while weekday lunches might be quieter and allow for a more relaxed meal. If you’re in Chickasha looking for a place with familiar flavors, prompt service, and a no-pressure vibe, A & E fills that niche with dependable results.

Myself and the wife have eaten here a few times and we keep coming back because of the good food, service and atmosphere. She enjoyed here club sandwich and mashed potatoes, while I had and enjoyed a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, cream gravy and corn.

Excellent grill, was very crowded when I was there (for the Festival of Light) but they still were able to get us everything we wanted and check on us consistently. Food was great, proximity to park is convenient. Recommend for sure!

My husband and I stopped in for dinner while we were in town. The service was top notch. The food was so good. My husband had the bacon burger and I had the catfish. Everything was so delicious. If we are back this way, we will stop back in.

I wish I had taken a few pictures of the food. It was delicious. I had probably the most tender chicken fried steak I have ever had. With a ton left over. Even the second day I didn't even need a knife to cut the chicken fried steak. It was so tender I could use my fork. Plus our waitress I forget her name. She was tall and slender was very kind and attentive.

The service you receive at A&E grill is always top notch. They are so attentive and work as a team, which is greatly appreciated. Since the local college gets a lot of international students, there are typically many of them that work here and you'll get the pleasure of hearing different accents while visiting. We live in another town and when traveling through, we always stop here to eat. It's one of our favorites. Sometimes we just make the trip because we crave it. We recommend the chips and queso to get started. No matter what food you're in the mood for, everything we have tried has been wonderful. Our family go-to's are the club sandwich, taco bowl, pork chops, and turkey and Swiss panini. If you're a fan of hush puppies, we definitely recommend giving them a try. They are some of the best we've ever had. Add a side of buffalo sauce and *chefs kiss* Only downside, and this is literally the only one we have, is the water. It's not good. I would love to be able to get water but instead we get a soda to try to cover up the bad taste of the water.
